Welcome to Niceville
Niceville is located in the Northwestern panhandle of Florida in Okaloosa County. Situated between the Gulf of Mexico to our South and Alabama to our North, we are also bordered by Destin, Pensacola and Panama City. Okaloosa County is diverse with its sugar white beaches and dense pine forests.

We are equally diverse in the attractions our area offer. Nestled along Choctawhatchee Bay, Niceville offers an endless variety of indoor and outdoor activities. For those who enjoy a great round of golf, we have some of the best courses in the country. Okaloosa Walton Community College is home to the Niceville Arts Center. A variety of theatrical events are performed year round for those who enjoy an evening at the Theater. Each October, Niceville hosts the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival. The many people who come each year for this Festival enjoy big name entertainment, food, and crafts.

Eglin Air Force Base, the largest military installation in the free world, is located here. Each year they open their gates to the public for their annual Air Show.

Okaloosa County has some of the best schools in the state. There are numerous Elementary, Middle, and High schools along with Okaloosa Walton Community College and branch Campuses of several Universities.
